Impington Hall, which shamelessly was allowed fall into disrepair and eventually after having been converted into other uses pulled down, was the home of the Pepys for over two hundred years.
It was located opposite Impington Church and today part of the parkland has Impington Village College built on it.
It was here that Samuel Pepys came to visit his great uncle, Talbot, for advice and as a result Impington is often refered to in the diaries of Samuel Pepys.
